Delayed JS3 Ogun results

I want appeal to the Ogun State Ministry of Education to release the 2014 Basic Education Certificate Examination results in the state.

The examination was taken in June/July 2014 by the then JS3 students who are supposed to be in SS1.

They have gone half of the term in SS1 without the release of the results making the examination irrelevant. This has not enabled parents of the affected students to effect their children’s transfer to other schools.

The delay in releasing the results is putting the children/parents in a dilemma. The children have thus been kept idle at home with the attendant implications. My findings however showed that while the Ogun State Government is delaying the release of the results, other neighbouring states have since done the needful by releasing theirs.

I hope our children will not be allowed to miss a whole session or at worst attend SS classes in the schools they do not like as a result of the delay.
