Jose Mourinho has no regret over anything this season, aside claims of “a campaign” focused at inciting decisions against his Chelsea sides
The Portuguese boss was named Manager of the Year yesterday, as midfielder Eden Hazard scooped the Player of the Year award.
Having won the Premier League for a third time in charge of the Stamford Bridge club; the Blues host relegation escapees Sunderland on Sunday in their final game of the season.
Not many would have expected the 52-year-old would regret a thing and, of course, what was bound to “happen, happened”, but Mourinho has vowed to delete “campaign” from his vocabulary in spite of future occurrences of anti-Chelsea decisions.
“I’m not the kind of person to regret. What you did, you did,” he said.
“What happened happened. You cannot change things.

“But maybe ‘campaign’ is not a nice word. So I would take the word ‘campaign’ out if the same happened.
“That feeling is still clear. We had lots of decisions against us, very bad decisions over a big period.”
Mourinho voiced those discontents after a 1-1 draw at Southampton on 29 December.
He felt referee Anthony Taylor could have awarded a penalty rather than book Cesc Fabregas, for going down in the area under the challenge by Matt Targett’s in the second half of the match at St. Mary’s stadium.
“There is a campaign against Chelsea. I don’t know why there is this campaign and I do not care,” Mourinho lashed out in his post-game spin on Sky Sports.
“Today it is a game between two good sides, a difficult match with not many opportunities and the ref makes a wrong decision. He just made a mistake, I don’t say more than that.”
Mourinho received a fine of £25,000 from the FA over the outburst.
