THE West African Examinations Council (WAEC) Monday said the registration period for the November/December 2014 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for private candidates has been extended.
In a statement signed by the Deputy Director (Public Affairs) on behalf of the Head of National Office, Y. D. Ari, the Council said: “Following appeals from candidates, parents, guardians and other stakeholders, the registration period for WASSCE has been extended to Monday, August 25, 2014.” It, therefore, advised all intending candidates to ensure that their entries are uploaded after payment of normal registration fee of Eleven Thousand Four Hundred Naira only (N11,400) at branches of any of the accredited banks not later than midnight on that day when the registration website will be shut down.
