OAU resumes May 17

The authorities of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile – Ife, Osun State, have announced new dates for the commencement of the 2014/2015 academic session for its new students and the returning undergraduates.

The Public Relations Officer of the university, Abiodun Olarewaju, in a statement on Wednesday, said that the new students would resume on May 17 while the returning undergraduates would resume on May 31.

Meanwhile, the university administration has concluded all arrangements to start the Harmattan Semester on June 1.

The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Bamitale Omole, enjoined students to make judicious use of their time and shun any act or behaviour that might unduly prolong the institution’s academic calendar.

He, therefore, wished the students journey mercies as they returned to the campus for the new academic session.
