Firm partners with Hitachi to improve teaching quality

A firm, Green Circle Network Africa, has partnered with Hitachi Solutions to improve the quality of teaching in Nigeria. Under the Hitachi Solution Regional Partnership on Education, virtual learning centres would be established in four states in the country.

According to a statement by the Project Director, Local Organising Committee of the programme, Ms. Bukky Oluderu, the partnership is set to organise a programme that would draw stakeholders in the education sector to discuss the possibilities of strategic collaborations and partnership on technological development, visual training funding and access to grants with leading universities across the world.

Oluderu added that the selection of the states in the four regions would be competitive. “We are not doing away with our curriculum in Nigeria. We are only bringing in the technology which would assist teachers in giving the best to their pupils. What this means is that no student will miss a class again because he can access the classroom from anywhere he is at any point in time. What the teacher teaches goes to central library and can be accessed from anywhere in the world
