The management of Olabisi Onabanjo University, OOU, Ogun State has ordered the reopening of the school which was shut in August based on the orders of the State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun when students held several protests demanding for a reduction in their school fees.
The Head, Corporate Affairs Division, Vice-Chancellor’s Office of the University, Niyi Oduwole, today however announced the reopening was based on the approval of the university’s governing council and lectures will be stating immediately. Students are to resume tomorrow, 29th of September, 2014 in continuation of their 2013/2014 academic session and are expected to be of good behaviour, he said.
