House committee commends YABATECH rector

Members, House of Representatives’ Committee on Education have commended the Rector, Yaba College of Technology, Dr. Margaret Ladipo, for what they described as her judicious use of resources.

The members of the committee led by its Chairman, Aminu Suleiman, stated this when they visited the college as part of their oversight function.

They noted that the leadership of the higher institutions should team up if they planned to give their best to the nation.

The chairman, who hailed the rector for her leadership style, noted that she had contributed to the transformation of the college.

Suleiman said, “I was here a couple of years ago and I cannot but attest that the government resources had been properly deployed in promoting development, which we all can see here. “We have noticed the trend of outstanding performances in Auchi and now in Lagos whereby women are at the helm of affairs and are proving their mettle as performers. What we see here can only come about through planning and strategic thinking.
