The Adamawa State Acting Governor, Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has
sworn-in another female to head the state universal basic education
board, ADSUBEB. Dr. Ketapwa Farauta who is a lecturer with the Moddibo
Adama University of Technology, MAUTECH Yola is the second woman to
occupy the seat since the creation of Adamawa State.
Fintiri, during the swearing-in ceremony, held at the government
house in Yola, tasked the new chairperson to set a new policy direction
for the board within the next 14 days.
He also urged her to take actions that would swiftly uplift the basic
educational standards in the state by shunning all forms of corruptible
practices.
