Wireless Internet Service will soon be installed at the Usman Danfodio University (UDUS) Sokoto Campus, Sokoto State.
This was as a result of a proposal presented by the National Internet
Technology Development Agency, a subsidiary of the Federal Ministry of
Information to the management of the university.
A statement signed by the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the
institution, Mallam Sadeeq Aliyu and made available to the Saturday
Tribune in Sokoto on Friday, said the wireless service is expected to
cover the main campus.
The statement said: ‘A proposal to that effect was presented to the
university by a team of communication experts led by its leader, Mr
Monday Dadu John, who visited the acting Vice Chancellor of the
university, Professor Muhammad Lawal Ahmadu
