Ige family to offer N24m scholarships to two pupils
The family of the late Chief Bola Ige is set to conduct examination to determine the beneficiaries of its N12m scholarship.
Ige, a former Attorney-General of the Federation and Governor of old Oyo State, was killed 2001.
The children of the late lawyer said the scholarship was for two pupils in public primary schools in Oyo and Osun states.
In a statement on Thursday, the family said winners of the scholarship would study at the Vale College, Ibadan, from JSS1 to SSS3 without paying any fee.
The scholarship competition, according to the organisers, is to hold on Saturday, April 18 at the Salvation Army Middle School, Osogbo, Osun State.
The scholarships cover, among others, tuition, feeding as well as fees for all examinations.
The Director of the Vale College, Mrs. Funso Adegbola, explained that the beneficiaries must be highly gifted pupils.
