Pupils, teachers, parents splashed with gifts at Noble Guide Academy’s Family Day

Pupils of Noble Guide Academy, Kubwa together with their teachers and parents were over the weekend received appreciation various gifts items in distinguishing themselves in different areas during the just concluded academic session.

The pupils, the 8th set of graduates, numbering 40, were presented with gifts of excellence both in academic and non-academic fields and also for successfully graduating from pre primary to primary levels.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony which is tagged as Family Day, the Director, Administration and Finance, Mrs. Aishat Tajudeen, said the gift presentations were meant to motivate the beneficiaries to improve on their performance, as well as challenge others to emulate them.
She enjoined the graduating pupils not to rest on their oars but to strive towards excellence as they climb the higher echelon of their educational pursuit.
Tajudeen, however, frowned at the attitude of some parents, who abandon their responsibilities completely to the teachers in their quest for money, urging them to assist the teachers to make their work easier.
One of the parents, Hafizah Abdulkareem, who was visibly excited at the event, said she has been impressed by the brilliant performance of her child since she brought her to the school.
Attributing the success story to the commitment and dedication of the teachers, she however called for some level of flexibility in the decision making process of the school management to allow for constructive inputs.
Highlights of the event which was graced by parents and other special dignitaries, included recitations from the holy Qur’an and special presentations by the pupils.
