ITF Trains 1,000 Youths in Sokoto




The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) yesterday commenced the training of 1,000 youths in Sokoto State under the National Industrial Skills Development Programme. Speaking at the commencement of the programme yesterday, ITF Area Manager in charge of Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara States, Alhaji Usman Muhammad Sani, stated that the scheme was geared towards empowering the youth to be self-reliant.

He said the scheme was aimed at reducing unemployment among the youth in the country. Sani explained that the youths would be trained on soap making, tailoring and panel beating for a duration of three months. “The aim is to empower the youths by building their capacity in order to be self-reliant and serve as avenue for manpower generation,” Sani said.
Wiko Mobile Takes Nigerian Partners to Dubai

According to Country Sales Manager for Wiko, Mr. John Peters, the Dubai pre-launch event would enable channel partners from Nigeria interact with other Wiko associates around the world in order to understand the Wiko brand culture, brand vision and brand attributes. The channel partners were drawn from key markets across the country, underlining the vision of the brand to take a significant share of the phone market from onset.
