Re: 2015 JAMB exams
The approved registration centres for the 2015 Unified Tertiary Matriculations Examination, are only 171 across the country. Specifically, Delta State has only 3 centres.
What is the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board up to by this action? Does it want to disenfranchise prospective candidates and deny them their rights to sit for the examination? One would have expected that such examination centres would be widespread for candidates to make their choice. But it is bad that these centres are being designated as the only centers for registration by applicants. Has JAMB taken into consideration the number and the geographical spread of these applicants? One would have expected two classes of centres: (1.) Registration centres, to cover the geographical spread; (2.) Exams centres, to handle the exams proper, which I think the approved 171 centres should be designated for. JAMB should review this before any harm is done.
